Rob Strickland - President:
After receiving numerous athletic scholarships to play collegiate football,
Rob Strickland elected to attend North Carolina A & T State University
where he starred as an all-conference linebacker.
He completed his undergraduate studies and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.
He played professional football for a short time and finished his career with the New York Jets.
Rob joined Macy’s (the largest retail store in the world) Security department at Herald Square on 34th street in New York City. He moved through the ranks of Store Investigator, Assistant Security Manager, Senior Security Manager, District Security Manager, Regional Director of Investigations and Regional Vice President of Security.
Rob also managed several different markets within the organization including
Florida, Georgia, Baltimore, New York, Washington, New Orleans, New Jersey,
Alabama, South Carolina and Puerto Rico. His responsibility included managing
the most “high-profile” events including; The Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade,
The Macys 4th of July Fireworks, The 1996 Centennial Olympics & the
Lighting of The Great Tree at Lenox Square. He has provided security protection
for numerous celebrities, entertainers and athletes. He was also responsible
for the complete Security supervision of Macys first off shore store in
San Juan Puerto Rico. During his tenure with Macys, Rob became very proficient
in Alarm System Installation, Burglar & Fire Alarm Protection, Camera
Installation & Surveillance, Secure Lock Devices, Safety Protection
and Investigations.
He was also the recipient of countless awards and recognition for his
contributions, service and accomplishments.
He successfully served the Macys Company for over 22 years and protected billions of dollars worth of assets, millions of customers and thousands of employees.
Rob now brings his resources, experience and expertise to Strickland
Security and Safety Solutions.
